Vegan Dairy: Cheese, Milk, Ice Cream and Yogurt
Hello vegan dairy! As more people have shifted towards a plant-based diet, the market has responded. You can now find an abundance of delicious vegan dairy options in grocery stores, online shops, and even in restaurants like Starbucks and McDonalds.
Looking for vegan cheese? No problem! There’s Treeline, Daiya, Follow Your Heart, Miyokos, VioLife… and more new brands coming out to deal with the increase in demand for dairy-free products.
Looking for vegan ice cream? There are so many delicious options! There’s Coconut Bliss, So Delicious, Ben & Jerry’s, Hagen Dasz, Tofutti, Cashewtopia, and I’m sure there are even more local brands that I don’t see in my area.
I promise: online or in the stores, there is an abundance of yummy, dairy-free beverages, cheeses, ice creams and yogurts.
Check out all of these vegan, dairy-free options I found at Roots Market in Clarksville, MD. It’s an exciting time to be a vegan!
Note: When you’re buying non-dairy cheese, be sure to check the ingredients list, as some of the rice milk and almond milk cheeses still contain casein, (a milk protein).
