Forks Over Knives Movie: Check It Out!

Forks Over Knives is a stunning documentary linking our diets to our increasing levels of disease.  It has received great reviews from Kevin Thomas of the LA Times, Mark Bittman from the NY Times and Roger Ebert from the Chicago Sun Times.

Forks Over Knives features medical evidence from famed researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell (author of The China Study), Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn (author of Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease), and Dr. Neal Barnard (author of the 21-Day Weight Loss Kickstart).  These  experts show us how disease can be reversed by switching to a plant-based diet, or vegan diet, and moving away from processed foods.

Executive Producer, Brian Wendel, says that “Forks Over Knives presents evidence that a whole food plant-based diet can prevent, and in many cases, reverse degenerative diseases.”

Visit the Forks Over Knives website to see if the film is playing in your city.   We have links to the Forks Over Knives schedule for the United States and the schedule for Canada. The film is also available on Netflix.

This movie should be recommended to all your family, relatives and friends. If you want to save your life and the lives of those closest to you you need to watch this movie and have them watch it. I was 287 pounds, on high blood pressure meds. high cholesterol meds, had tyep 2 diabetes and severe sleep apnea. After embracing a whole foods-plant based diet in 4 months I lost 48 pounds, my sleep apnea is gone, I do not have type 2 diabetes any longer and I am off all meds. I will never eat meat, dairy or eggs again. I you have a loved one in any of those circumstance please give them the opportunity to find better health and a hppier life. This is a no brainer!

This was great! I actually was dying to see it so we took a megabus up to Cleveland which was the closest place we could find it playing. It’s coming out soon on blu ray I think, check out amazon for pre-ordering in august, and there is a companion recipe book as well I believe. It’s hard to unsee this type of info!
