Vegan Fine Dining in NYC: Vegetables at Dovetail on Wednesday, May 16th
And this new taste isn’t just vegetarian, there’s a vegan option as well! This new and elegant addition to the 5th annual festival is an inspired five-course veggie tasting dinner prepared by an all-star group of chefs, led by John Fraser, Dovetail; Missy Robbins, A Voce: Ed Brown, Ed’s Chowder House; Harold Dieterle, Perilla and Christina Tosi, Momofuku Milk Bar. When you register, please specify that you would like the vegan option. (Otherwise you will just get a vegetarian meal).
Inspired by a continuation of Dovetail’s “Meatless Mondays,” proceeds will benefit the New York Sun Works Greenhouse Project. New York Sun Works will educate students at the I.S. 44 School about science, while growing organic hydroponic vegetables. Chef John Fraser and Dovetail have a relationship with the project, helping maintain the greenhouse and using its produce at the restaurant.
