Accidentally Vegan: Barre Bars!
This week’s Accidentally Vegan feature is…Real Food Bars by Barre!
Shared by Rebecca Gilbert
My friends know that I used to be a competitive figure skater, so when one of them told me about vegan snacks created by a former ballerina, I couldn’t wait to try them! Have you heard of Barre, real food bars? Created by Julia Erickson, a former ballerina, all Barre bars are vegan, made from real food, and scrumptiously yummy!
These vegan barres are high in Omega-3s and made without any refined sugar. I LOVE that they’re made from real food: you can identify and pronounce all of the ingredients! Check out the label for the Cinnamon Pirouette Barre: dates, walnuts, pecans, agave nectar, hemp seed, rolled oats, hemp protein, ground flax seed, brown rice protein, vanilla, cinnamon, sea salt, peanuts. Just writing this post brings back the sweet cinnamon-y goodness, and makes me want to spin in my chair. Wheeeeee!
I loved all three flavors: Black Swan Chocolate Berry, Pirouette Cinnamon Pecan, and Ballerina Spirulina. Right now Barre is available at over 130 stores across the US. Barre has a nice store locator and map that shows (by zip code) which studios and shops carry their products.
Enjoy!
Products featured on Accidentally Vegan meet these criteria:
